Varied and unforgettable weekend in London
In October, 35 members spent a varied and unforgettable weekend in London. Over the course of three days, an impressive programme packed with unique insights and experiences awaited the participants.
Among the highlights were a tour of the Royal Mews, a visit to the Canadian High Commission, and fascinating insights into the work of the Royal Protection Command. Guided tours of the Houses of Parliament (including the House of Lords) and the Tower of London were also on the agenda.
The trip had plenty to offer socially and culinarily as well: sharing meals at the historic pub The Albert and the Union Jack Club made for convivial evenings and great conversations.
The weekend drew to a wonderful close on Sunday with a church service at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, before the trip concluded with one final lunch together.
The London trip will surely live long in the memory of all participants.
